Политика использования файлов cookie
Last Updated: January 2026
Мы используем файлы cookie и локальное хранилище для сохранения настроек валюты и корректной работы калькулятора. Мы не отслеживаем личные данные. This document provides complete details on how Hike Calculator uses cookies and browser local storage (HTML5 localStorage) to deliver an instant, client-side compensation utility.
1. Client-Side Preference Storage
Hike Calculator operates entirely within your web browser. We do not transmit calculation inputs or personal financial numbers to any remote server. To provide a seamless experience, we use browser storage (localStorage) exclusively for:
1. Currency Preference
Saving your selected global currency (e.g. INR, USD, EUR, GBP) so that symbols format automatically on your return.
2. Cookie Consent Status
Remembering that you have viewed and acknowledged our cookie and privacy notice (cookie_consent_accepted).
3. Active Session Retention
Storing active calculation inputs locally during your browsing session so calculations are not lost when switching tabs.
2. Zero Third-Party Tracking Policy
We enforce a strict privacy standard across all language versions of our platform:
- No behavioral advertising trackers or cross-site tracking pixels.
- No data brokering, selling, or monetization of calculation metrics.
- No device fingerprinting or identity profiling scripts.
3. Summary of Storage Technologies Used
| Storage Key | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| hike_calc_currency | localStorage | Remembers selected currency code | Persistent (until cleared) |
| cookie_consent_accepted | localStorage | Remembers cookie consent acknowledgment | Persistent (until cleared) |
| Session State | Memory | Maintains calculator numbers while page is open | Session only |
4. Managing Browser Storage and Cookies
You can clear or disable stored preferences at any time through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Disabling storage simply resets the currency selector to default upon your next visit.
